Today, we all are getting familiar with colour gems. Information is available everywhere and definitely not like the old days where diamond seems to be the only dominant subject. A lot of precious and semi-precious gems, including sapphire, emerald, ruby, topaz, and pearl, are introduced and people are getting more appreciation on them. These gems have their own characteristics and specialties to be observed and valued in gemology. Being set with jewelleries, its beauty, as well as the value, is definitely enhanced.

There are quite a lot of colour gems, precious or semi-precious, available in the market. However, some of them are having more meaningful representation than the others. Traditionally, people believe that each month is being represented by a specific gem, which is called the birthstones. A lot of people do wear the corresponding gem in order to create a complete meaningful wear and trying to make a statement. If you want to know more about this, please do visit our Education section for more details.
